Buddhist Temples of Ancient Pagan, Burma / Myanmar

Resolution of the plain near Pagan, Burma / Myanmar is improving enough to map some of the 3,000+ Buddhist temples using Google Map Maker, OpenStreetMap, Wikimapia.

Here's a GMM partial view of the region with some of the sites mapped.  The Panoramio photos of this area are generally poorly geo-located, but here's a view.

Pierre Pichard did an 8 volume inventory of the monuments for UNESCO, which apparently aren't available online except in snippet form.  The inventory includes lat/lon of each site to 3 decimal places.  I don't know how the surveying was done.
